"Pacific Rim 2"Sequel gets 2018 release date
"Pacific Rim" stars British-Nigerian actor, John Boyega, as Idris Elba’s son.
Universal Pictures has announced that "Pacific Rim 8. 2" will make its debut on February 23, 2018.
The sequel will debut one week after Marvel’s anticipated "Black Panther," which premieres February 16.
It was recently announced that the sequel will star 24-year-old British-Nigerian actor, John Boyega, as the son of Idris Elbawho played the Stacker Pentecost in the 2013 film.
