Man united is close to signing henrikh mkhitaryan after completing the deal of the PSG Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he is set to move to Man United on a one year deal also Man United are understood to be in advanced negotiations with Borussia Dortmund for Mkhitaryan and a deal for the 27-year-old could be announced this week.
\Ibrahimovic, a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, is set to sign a one-year deal with the option of a second once personal terms are agreed and a medical is completed.
Borussia Dortmund had insisted Mkhitaryan, who scored 23 goals in 52 games last season, would stay this summer despite the Armenian international’s insistence that he would not be signing an extension to his contract.
But they have been swayed by an offer that could rise above £25m with add-ons. The German club would have risked losing Mkhitaryan for free in 12 months’ time had they blocked the move.
Dortmund are keen to have a deal agreed before Mkhitaryan is due back for pre-season training on July 4.
His arrival is set to throw Juan Mata’s future into further doubt.
Jose Mourinho has already axed the Spaniard once as manager of Chelsea and Mkhitaryan will provide further competition in the attacking positions at Old Trafford.
Ibrahimovic’s season ended on Wednesday after Sweden’s exit from the European Championship following defeat to Belgium.
His contract at PSG is set to officially expire on June 30 but that will not stop the 34-year-old penning a deal with United before then.
