Manchester City kicked off their pre-season schedule with a 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.The match was Pep Guardiola’s first game in the City dugout since his move from the Allianz Arena at the end of last season.
Both sides had lots of big named players absent, and most of the players who were involved at Euro 2016 are still on their summer oliday.
One player, however, who played at the Euros was Oleksandr Zinchenko, as the Ukrainian teenager got his debut for City.
Ozturk with the winner
The only goal of the game came in the second half.20-year-old Erdal Ozturk bagged the winner when his shot took a deflection past City’s substitute goalkeeper Angus Gunn – son of Norwich legend Bryan.
